Minda Thurman is a military veteran who has worked as a government contractor and in various administrative and technological roles over the last fifteen years. She is a wife along with being a mother of three.
As a fulltime working mom of twins, she received her associate’s degree in liberal arts from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018. Employing her entrepreneurial skills after a life-threatening brain aneurysm and AVM rupture in February of 2020, she started her own company. She became the owner and founder of God Is My Glow Up, LLC. GIMGU (for short) offers delightful, comfortable apparel that spreads its message of hope and God’s grace in both English and Spanish on various social media platforms.
Minda works hard while successfully juggling motherhood and recovery. She seeks to raise awareness for AVM patients, survivors, and their families.
She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Public Health at Southern New Hampshire University and advocates regularly for AVM awareness and stroke survivors.
